Generative Learning Curricula/Universal Design for Learning/STEM Program

Each student is tested through a diagnostic in the individual subjects to be placed on their instructional level, with learning gaps being filled in to complete their basic foundation. Firmness and fluency in all content areas is acquired with mastery before new levels are approached.  Learning is 4D and interactional. Core standards are exceeded.

Read 180/Language/Project Read

A multi-sensory curriculum, which includes Reading, Comprehension, Language, Spelling, Listening, Phonemic Awareness and Writing in a structured sequence that requires 80% mastery at each component and level.

LIPS

A curriculum that prepares students to be phonemically aware by understanding letter to sound correspondence.

Visualizing and Verbalizing

A curriculum which supports students’ reading comprehension by aiding them through seeing pictures as they retell important story elements.

The Barton System

A multi-sensory program which supports students in spelling, reading, and writing.

Step Up to Writing

A curriculum which helps students to understand how paragraphs are constructed in different types of text as well as write well constructed paragraphs with topic, naming and explaining sentences.

Handwriting Without Tears

A sequentially structured handwriting curriculum developed by an OTR that supports student in both print and cursive and brings them to the next level in written expression.

News 2 You/ Time for Kids

An online interactive newspaper which features current events and language art activities on three levels of difficulty so that the student can comprehend on their instructional level.

Multi-Sensory Math, Math You See, and Morningside Math Fluency

There are many different curricula including touch math, math their way, calendar math.

Supercharged Science

The e-Science program is aligned with National Science Standards and STEM. It incorporates visual lessons, hands-on experiments, and engaging activities that are both fun and educational.

Moving Beyond the Page

Social studies curriculum engages students in a meaningful and exciting exploration of culture, geography, history, economics, government, and citizenship. The curriculum is brought to life through amazing literature selections that enable children to experience the people and places along their journey.
